When we launched Daily Development in 2013, our aim was to explore global development and the people behind it. In the run up to the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we talked to people who, away from the negotiations, were working towards improving the lives of others. We spoke to people throughout the world, working in all the areas that would be covered by the 17 goals, people who inspired us with their dedication and stories of innovation and progress.

Daily Development was founded as both a blog and a book project. In this, the last post on the blog, we share the Daily Development book, the culmination of our Daily Development project. It tells the story of the people we have spoken to over the past few years, stories that we hope will serve as inspiration for all who work to achieve the SDGs over next 15 years.
