For the past three years, Oxfam in Armenia has marked International Women's Day with the Female Food Hero national award ceremony. It aims to promote women who work in agriculture in Armenia, and who have been successful in bringing positive change and in promoting food security, nutrition and the sustainable development of their community. This year it involves candidates from every region of Armenia, who have been nominated by the Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia and the Agricultural Alliance established by Oxfam. Read more
